FRC® is a trademarked system of mobility and joint control training based in scientific principles and research. The majority of these methods work on improving connective tissue architecture rather than solely focusing on the muscles.
Connective tissue is part of the central nervous system,
and muscular tissue is not.
The truth of the matter is that your joints are in complete control of your muscles.
If muscles are tight, they are only tight because your connective tissue doesn't trust that you can safely be active in the position you are trying to get into.
If this is the case then your joints will pull on the reins in order to keep you safe,
even if all you're trying to do is touch your toes.
Flexibility: The ability to passively or inactively stretch your tissues into a certain range.
It is possible to be flexible but lack mobility.
Mobility: The ability to actively move joints through a usable range of motion.
Good mobility requires a certain amount of flexibility, but more-so requires
strength, control and stability.
FRC® training works to help you increase your active, usable ranges of motion while simultaneously improving joint mobility, strength and resilience,
and neurological control.

this system trains you how to control and move your body.
